Official Exchange Rate of Dollar and Euro: NBU Updates Currency Indicators for June 17

The National Bank of Ukraine has published the official exchange rates of major foreign currencies for Tuesday, June 17. According to the updated data, the hryvnia continues to weaken against both the US dollar and the euro.

Hryvnia Exchange Rate Against Dollar and Euro: Change Dynamics

The official exchange rate of the US dollar is set at 41.53 UAH per dollar, which is 8 kopecks higher compared to the previous figure. This indicates a slight decrease in the value of the national currency against the American one.

The euro exchange rate has also changed – as of June 17, it stands at 48.07 UAH per euro. Thus, the hryvnia has lost 38 kopecks against the European currency over the past day.

Situation in the Interbank Market

As of 16:00, the exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar in the interbank currency market of Ukraine was 41.57/41.60 UAH per dollar. The euro quotations were at the level of 48.11/48.14 UAH per euro.

The exchange rate of the hryvnia against the euro is set at 48.07 UAH/euro.

Fluctuations in the exchange rate affect the financial decisions of businesses and the population, as well as the pricing policies of importers and exporters. The dynamics of currency movements remain under close observation by market participants and financial analysts.
