Ukrzaliznytsia has completed the refurbishment of two new sleeper class passenger cars, which have now joined the flagship train No. 7/8 Kyiv – Chernivtsi, named “Bukovyna.” The ticket price for the sleeper car on the April 14 departure from Kyiv is 491.37 UAH.

Interior Updates and New Features
The company announced that the cars have received an updated interior and exterior with a new finish. Electronic displays have also been installed both outside and inside the train. Additionally, the cars are equipped with an air conditioning system, vacuum toilets, Braille signage for seat numbers and other areas, updated lighting, and the ability for individual control of the lighting. Each seat is also equipped with standard outlets, USB and Type-C ports, as well as mobile phone holders.
Ticket Prices for the Updated Cars
For the April 14 departure from Kyiv to the sleeper cars of train No. 7/8 “Bukovyna,” tickets are available for 491.37 UAH. Tickets for compartments and luxury cabins are also available. The price for compartment tickets is 897.89 UAH, while luxury tickets cost 2189.96 UAH.
“We continue to carry out major repairs on passenger cars, so we are launching two more sleeper cars refurbished at Ukrzaliznytsia’s own facilities. These cars will operate as part of our flagship train No. 7/8 Kyiv – Chernivtsi ‘Bukovyna,'” the statement reads.
