Russians Launch Another Attack on DTEK Mine in Dnipropetrovsk Region

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a mine owned by the energy company DTEK has become the target of an enemy attack by Russian forces. At the time of the shelling, nearly 500 workers were underground, but all were promptly evacuated to the surface without casualties or injuries.

According to the company, 496 employees were underground during the attack. Thanks to the coordinated actions of the administration and rescue services, everyone was successfully brought to the surface, and there were no injuries.

“Russia has once again attacked the DTEK mine in Dnipropetrovsk region. During the attack, 496 mine employees were underground. All were brought to the surface. None of our colleagues were harmed.”

Increase in Attacks on Coal Enterprises

The company emphasizes that this is already the seventh large-scale attack on DTEK’s coal enterprises in the last two months. Such actions by the enemy pose a threat not only to the economic stability of the region but also to the lives and health of workers in the mining industry.
