The Reserve+ app will introduce online payment for military registration fines with a discount

Starting in July, a new feature will be available in the Reserve+ mobile app — online payment for fines related to military registration violations with a 50% discount. Ukrainians will be able to pay 8,500 UAH instead of 17,000 UAH using their smartphones, significantly simplifying the process of interacting with government services in this area.

Convenience and speed of payment

As explained by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Kateryna Chernohorenko, the new option will allow users to pay the fine immediately after receiving a notification in the app, without the need to visit territorial recruitment centers or search for bank details. The feature will operate on the principle of “pay quickly — receive a discount,” similar to the system for paying fines for traffic violations.

“If a person is notified about a fine through Reserve+, they will be able to pay it immediately in the app — not 17,000 UAH, but only 8,500 UAH.”

The relevant law, which allows for a simplified payment procedure, was developed by the Ministry of Defense in collaboration with members of parliament. The launch of this service is expected to take place in July — within the next three to four weeks.

Further digitization of military registration

Today, the Reserve+ app is actively used by over 4.5 million Ukrainian citizens. The service has become a “gateway to the military”: through it, users can apply for military service, view available vacancies, receive referrals for military medical commissions (MMC), or arrange deferments. According to Chernohorenko, every third deferment in the country is currently processed through Reserve+.

The implementation of the new online payment feature for fines is another step towards complete digitization of citizens’ interactions with the Territorial Recruitment Centers (TRC). The Ministry of Defense plans to further expand the app’s capabilities: users will be able to choose a medical facility for undergoing the MMC independently, and all 35 types of deferments will be digitized.
