In the city of Nizhyn, located in the Chernihiv region, plans are underway to construct a new building for the central city hospital. To implement this large-scale project, the government has approved the allocation of funds amounting to 35 million euros.

Investments in Medical Infrastructure
The funding for the construction includes not only the erection of a modern hospital building but also the procurement of state-of-the-art medical equipment. This was announced by the mayor of Nizhyn, Oleksandr Kodola, who noted that the project will be carried out within the framework of the state program “Construction, Modernization, and Equipping of Healthcare Facilities” in accordance with the framework agreements between the governments of Ukraine and France.
Improving Medical Services for the Community
“The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a resolution that approved the allocation of funds for the modernization of our city hospital. Thanks to this funding, we will be able to build a new hospital wing and equip it with new medical equipment.”
According to Kodola, the implementation of this investment project will significantly enhance the level of medical services in the city, as well as create comfortable conditions for patients and hospital staff. Furthermore, it is expected that the new building will be an important step towards modernizing the entire local medical infrastructure and improving the quality of medical care for the residents of the region.
