On the night of March 19, a powerful drone attack occurred in the city of Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol Krai, Russian Federation. The main target of the attack appeared to be the large chemical enterprise ‘Nevinnomyssk Azot’, known as one of the largest producers of nitrogen fertilizers and ammonia, which is part of the Eurochem group of companies.

Details of the Attack on the Industrial Zone
According to reports from OSINT channels, a series of powerful explosions were heard in the industrial zone of the city. Eyewitnesses stated that the first explosions were heard around 2:00 AM, with the total number reaching at least 15-20. Most of them occurred in the area where the chemical enterprise is located.
Residents of Nevinnomyssk reported that the explosions were so powerful that windows shook in many homes, and car alarms were triggered. Russian Telegram channels also confirmed that the main strike targeted the industrial zone of the city.
“Our air defense forces are repelling an attack by enemy UAVs aimed at the industrial zone of Nevinnomyssk. There have been shootdowns. Please do not approach the debris of the drones.”
Government Response and Previous Attacks
The governor of Stavropol Krai confirmed the fact of the drone attack on the region, emphasizing that the drones specifically targeted the industrial zone of the city. At the time of publication, there was no official confirmation that the attack directly affected the ‘Nevinnomyssk Azot’ enterprise.
It is worth noting that this is not the first instance of a drone attack on this enterprise: in December 2025, ‘Nevinnomyssk Azot’ had already suffered a similar bombardment. Additionally, on the night of December 18, drones attacked Krasnodar, posing a threat to the military airfield.
