Lithuania has announced a voluntary financial contribution of 10 million euros as part of the Ukraine Facility program, which is being implemented with the support of the European initiative Team Europe. These funds will contribute to the economic recovery of Ukraine, its modernization, and the enhancement of institutional resilience.

Lithuania Expands Assistance to Ukraine
As noted by Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys, the total amount of assistance that Lithuania has provided to Ukraine since 2022 has already exceeded 1.7 billion euros. The new contribution under the Ukraine Facility is another step in the framework of cooperation and support for the Ukrainian people.
Ukraine Facility Program: Goals and Directions
The Ukraine Facility program encompasses a comprehensive set of measures to ensure the long-term development of the Ukrainian economy and its integration into the European space. The initiative includes the implementation of 69 structural reforms and the achievement of 151 accompanying indicators. The main areas of transformation include:
- development of a sustainable economy,
- ecological transition,
- digitalization,
- adaptation to European Union standards.
Additionally, Lithuania also supports Ukraine’s energy sector: the country has already provided generators worth over 2 million euros, which helps stabilize the Ukrainian energy system during ongoing attacks from the Russian Federation. The supplies include various equipment necessary to support the energy infrastructure.
