Strengthening the Energy Resilience of Kyiv Region

As reported by Mykola Kalashnyk, the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, this assistance is another stage of support from international partners. Since the beginning of energy attacks by the enemy, Kyiv region has already received 780 generators of various capacities and 182 portable charging stations. The total capacity of the transferred equipment currently amounts to nearly 10 megawatts.

“Overall, since the start of the enemy’s energy terror against our state, Kyiv region has received 780 generators and 182 portable charging stations from international partners. The total capacity of the transferred equipment is nearly 10 MW.”

Rotation and Renewal of Backup Equipment

According to Kalashnyk, some of the generators that have been operational since the beginning of the massive attacks have already accumulated a significant number of operating hours. Therefore, the new supplies not only enhance the reliability of backup power supply but also allow for the rotation and maintenance of existing devices. This will contribute to further strengthening the energy security of the region and resilience to potential future challenges.
