The State Property Fund of Ukraine held an auction for the privatization of the state enterprise “Spetsagro”. The winner of the bidding was the company “Best Format Plus”, which offered 49 million UAH for the lot with a starting price of 4.98 million UAH. Taking into account the value-added tax, the final amount that the winner must pay is 58.8 million UAH. The assets of “Spetsagro” include 36 real estate and infrastructure objects located in Kyiv and Zhytomyr.

New Privatization Auctions by the State Property Fund
A few days earlier, the State Property Fund also organized an online auction for the sale of a gas station in the city of Slavutych, Kyiv region. The station is designed to service 500 vehicles, and its total area is 114.2 square meters. The highest bid of 1.75 million UAH was made by Serhiy Barinov. The initial price of the object was 13,870 UAH. The winner must additionally pay 350,000 UAH in VAT, so the total economic effect from the privatization of this gas station could reach 2.1 million UAH.

A bakery and confectionery production business is up for sale in Lviv region for 1.5 million USD. The enterprise has its own network of stores and a franchise in Western Ukraine. All products are supplied both to its own retail outlets and to wholesale clients. The annual turnover of the enterprise is approximately 70 million UAH, with a net profit ranging from 4 to 5.5 million UAH.
