On May 10, 2025, the “Maidan Nezalezhnosti” metro station in Kyiv will temporarily be closed for entry and exit for passengers. This is due to official events involving foreign delegations. “The temporary changes are related to the presence of foreign delegations in Kyiv and the holding of ceremonial and commemorative events at the state level.”
It is noted that the restrictions will last from 5:38 AM to 12:00 PM. Meanwhile, the transfer hub “Maidan Nezalezhnosti” – “Khreshchatyk” will operate as usual.
It is also important to note that in the event of an air raid alert, the “Maidan Nezalezhnosti” station will function as a shelter. Passengers are urged to take these changes into account and plan their routes in advance.
Additionally, there may be temporary traffic restrictions on certain central streets of the capital throughout the day.
