European Business Association Invested Over $3 Billion in Major Projects Since 2022

Companies that are members of the European Business Association have announced investments in major projects (starting from $10 million) since 2022, totaling over $3 billion. Among these investments, $287 million has already been allocated to completed projects, $2.57 billion is currently being implemented, and another $172 million is planned for future initiatives.

Some of the most significant investments include:

  • ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih – mining, metallurgical, and infrastructure investments aimed at maintaining competitiveness and enhancing workplace safety during the war – $325 million.
  • Bayer – expansion of the seed plant capacity – €60 million.
  • DTEK – Tiligul Wind Farm – €650 million.
  • Elementum Energy – Dniester Wind Power Plant (second phase) – $110.5 million.
  • Kyivstar – investments in the development and restoration of Ukraine’s digital infrastructure for 2023-2027 – $1 billion.
  • Knauf – building materials manufacturing plant – €150 million.
  • Neqsol Holding – privatization of the “United Mining and Chemical Company” – $96 million.
  • City One Development – glass manufacturing plant – $140 million.

The European Business Association emphasizes that the Euro-integration movement opens new opportunities for business development in Ukraine and significantly enhances the country’s investment attractiveness. These investments could be a crucial factor in the recovery of the economy and the creation of new jobs.
