Investments in Ukrainian Startups: CAST AI Raises $108 Million

The startup CAST AI, co-founded by Odesa native Yuriy Fraiman, has raised $108 million in investments to develop its AI platform. This platform specializes in analyzing and optimizing clients’ computing resources, as well as managing costs for cloud services. The funding round was led by G2 Venture Partners and the SoftBank Vision Fund.

The funds are planned to be used for expanding the platform’s functionality and increasing the startup’s global presence.

Additionally, the Ukrainian startup SorbiForce, founded by entrepreneur and scientist Serhiy Kaminsky, has managed to raise over $270,000 through the crowdfunding platform StartEngine. The project received support from 183 investors, and its valuation reached $20 million.

Furthermore, the Ukrainian venture fund Flyer One Ventures invested €2.5 million in the funding round of the Austrian startup Heizma. Heizma offers eco-friendly and cost-effective solutions for electrifying private homes. The raised funds will be directed by the team towards expanding their operations in Austria, developing energy management technologies, and launching new financial instruments.
