Harvest 2025: Over 7 Million Tons of Grain Threshed in Ukraine by Mid-July

As of July 18, 2025, the harvest of early grains and legumes is ongoing in Ukraine, with a significant volume of the crop already collected. According to updated data, farmers have threshed 2,355.3 thousand hectares, resulting in a yield of 7,225.8 thousand tons of grain.

Main Results of Grain Harvesting

Among the most important crops, wheat traditionally occupies the largest share of the harvest. A total of 1,504.5 thousand hectares of this crop have been threshed, yielding 4,671.1 thousand tons. Barley has been harvested from an area of 660.6 thousand hectares, with a yield of 2,181.6 thousand tons. Peas are also showing stable results: 170.8 thousand hectares have been threshed, resulting in 362.9 thousand tons.

Regional Leaders and State of Rapeseed Harvest

Among the regions demonstrating the highest grain harvesting rates, Odesa leads, having threshed 722.1 thousand hectares, which allowed for the collection of 2,020.4 thousand tons of grain. In Mykolaiv region, 488.7 thousand hectares have been processed with a yield of 1,172.8 thousand tons, while in Kirovohrad region, 238.6 thousand hectares have resulted in 963 thousand tons.

The harvesting of rapeseed is ongoing in fourteen regions of the country. To date, 614.1 thousand tons of this crop have been harvested from an area of 360.3 thousand hectares.

As of July 18, 2025, Ukraine has already threshed 2,355.3 thousand hectares and harvested 7,225.8 thousand tons of early grains and legumes.
