Deregulation in the Energy Sector
During the dialogue, businesses emphasized the need for further deregulation, particularly regarding connections to energy networks. The government has already implemented a number of decisions in this direction and is ready to move forward, optimizing all possible processes for entrepreneurs.
“During the meeting, business representatives clearly expressed the demand for further deregulation. The government has already implemented a number of relevant decisions and is ready to proceed – we will further deregulate all processes where possible, primarily in the area of connections to energy networks,” said the Prime Minister.
Svyrydenko emphasized that all necessary changes will be developed in close cooperation with businesses and will be adopted without delay. At the same time, she stressed that any attempts to delay or sabotage by energy companies, regional energy suppliers, or gas companies will lead to personal accountability.
The head of the government added that the authorities will continue to support a constant dialogue with the business community, organizing similar meetings in various formats and areas of activity to strengthen partnerships.
Earlier, the government had already adopted a number of decisions aimed at simplifying entrepreneurial activities in Ukraine.
