Starting from September 1, 2025, Ukrainians who are customers of “Naftogaz,” which accounts for about 98% of all subscribers, will continue to pay for gas at a rate of 7.96 UAH per cubic meter. The company has officially confirmed the continuation of the “Fixed” tariff plan.

Tariff Duration and Review Possibility
As stated in the announcement from “Naftogaz,” the current tariff will remain unchanged at least until April 30, 2026. This means that Ukrainian families can continue to rely on a stable gas price within the “Fixed” tariff plan.
“The gas supply company ‘Naftogaz of Ukraine,’ which is part of the Naftogaz Group, will continue to supply gas to Ukrainian families at an unchanged price of 7.96 UAH per cubic meter. This is provided for by the ‘Fixed’ tariff plan,” the announcement states.
Furthermore, after April 30, 2026, the gas tariff may only be reviewed in the event of changes in legislation regarding the moratorium on price increases for gas and heating. Currently, the issue of lifting the moratorium is not being considered, so a tariff increase is not expected in the near future.
Bill Calculation for Different Consumer Categories
The cost of gas on bills will depend on consumption volumes. For example, if a household of three people, using only a gas stove and having centralized hot water supply, consumes 9.9 cubic meters of gas in July, the bill will amount to 78.8 UAH.
- For a consumption of 16.2 cubic meters (for three people with a gas stove, without centralized hot water supply and without a gas water heater), the payment will be 128.96 UAH.
- If a family of three uses both a gas stove and a gas water heater, and the consumption volume is 31.5 cubic meters per month, the bill will reach 250.7 UAH.
Thus, for most Ukrainian consumers, the price of gas will remain stable until spring 2026, and any changes are only possible after the adoption of relevant legislative decisions.
