Eyewitnesses Describe Events in Various Areas of Crimea
According to representatives of the public movement “Ateş”, gunfire was heard in several areas of the Crimean Peninsula. Some users noted that Russian occupiers attempted to jam mobile communications.
“Reports of gunfire in various areas of Crimea… The occupiers are jamming communications… A fast-moving object resembling a missile flew over Sevastopol towards the interior of the peninsula”
At the same time, users of the telegram channel “Crimean Wind” clarify that the possible missile launch occurred from Cape Fiolent towards the sea. An explosion was also recorded at the Belbek airfield at 17:31.
Lack of Official Comments
As of the time of publication, the Russian head of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, had not made any statements regarding the declaration of an air alert. No official information about the explosions or missile has appeared in local telegram channels either.
It is worth noting that independent sources are currently unable to confirm or deny this information due to hostilities in Crimea and limited access to objective data.
Since 2022, the Crimean Peninsula has regularly been subjected to drone and missile attacks. At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Defense and the occupying authorities often do not acknowledge damage to military facilities, even if such facts are confirmed by local residents or independent sources.
