In Ukraine, there is an increase in electricity consumption. On the morning of May 9, the level was 7.9% higher compared to the same time the previous day. This is related to worsening weather conditions, which lead to a decrease in the efficiency of household solar power plants (SPPs).

In this regard, energy workers have appealed to citizens to consume electricity sparingly, as the energy system continues to recover from attacks by Russia. This information was released by “Ukrenergo”.
“Currently, the Ukrainian energy system continues to recover from Russia’s massive missile and drone attacks. There is a need for economical electricity consumption”
Experts note that the decrease in SPP productivity due to cloudy weather and precipitation leads to an increase in energy consumption from the general grid. Energy workers recommend that Ukrainians shift the use of high-power electrical appliances to nighttime hours and, if possible, avoid turning on multiple devices simultaneously until 10:00 PM.
