In April 2025, 5,600 used passenger cars aged up to 5 years were imported into Ukraine. Electric vehicles gained the most popularity, capturing 50% of the entire market. The most sought-after model was the TESLA Model Y, which costs between $8,000 and $62,500 in Ukraine.

According to Ukravtoprom data, used cars aged up to 5 years accounted for 27% of the total number of used vehicles purchased by Ukrainians in April. Overall, the Ukrainian vehicle fleet increased by 20,700 used cars.
Advantages of Used Electric Vehicles
In addition to electric vehicles, Ukrainians also actively purchased gasoline cars, which made up 33% of all purchases. Hybrids accounted for 9%, diesel cars for 6%, and vehicles with gas cylinder equipment for 2%.

The most popular used car aged up to 5 years among Ukrainians was the TESLA Model Y, with 552 units sold. The top 10 also included:

- KIA Niro – 200 units;
- NISSAN Rogue – 171 units;
- HYUNDAI Kona – 168 units;
- MAZDA CX5 – 167 units;
- AUDI E-Tron Sportback – 149 units;
- CHEVROLET Bolt – 129 units;
- VOLKSWAGEN Tiguan – 115 units;
- NISSAN Leaf – 109 units.
As for the price of the TESLA Model Y, it depends on several factors, such as condition and mileage. For example, a 2021 model with 40,000 km after an accident can be purchased for $8,000, while a 2023 model with 17,000 km costs $26,800, and a 2022 model with 28,000 km is priced at $62,500.
