Ukrainian farmers have reported an increase in prices for last year’s white cabbage. According to analysts from the EastFruit project, the main reason for this rise is the seasonal reduction in product supply against a backdrop of stable demand.

Farms that still have significant stocks of cabbage for wholesale trade have decided to take advantage of the situation and have raised their prices. As of today, the price of cabbage ranges from 38 to 45 UAH/kg, which is approximately 10% higher compared to the figures at the end of last week.
Experts note that current prices for white cabbage are, on average, six times higher than those of the same period last year. At the same time, analysts do not rule out the possibility of further price increases due to the rapid depletion of product stocks on farms.
