CO₂ Emission Reduction and Energy Consumption Technology
Binding Solutions reports that its innovative technology significantly reduces energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions during the production of iron ore pellets compared to traditional methods. The company has signed a memorandum of understanding with Mitsui Iron Ore Development (MIOD), which involves the production of cold agglomerated pellets. These pellets require significantly less energy to produce than conventional products in this category.
New Market Opportunities and Premium Products
Binding Solutions CEO John Stewart noted significant progress in collaboration with MIOD on the development of eco-friendly pellets from Pilbara iron ore – the largest region in the world for extracting this resource. He believes this move opens up new market prospects for the company.
“The progress achieved in collaboration with MIOD on the development of pellets from Pilbara ore – the largest iron ore extraction region in the world – creates significant additional market opportunities for the company.”
As part of the preliminary agreement, Binding Solutions plans to apply its own technology to process lower-quality iron ore resources from the Pilbara region. As a result, the company will produce pellets that will be sold at a premium price.
