Germany holds the top position among European countries, with 171 billionaires and a total wealth of €676.4 billion. The richest person in the country is Dieter Schwarz, the main shareholder of the Schwarz Group, which owns the supermarket chains Lidl and Kaufland. His wealth is estimated at €35 billion, placing him 37th in the global ranking of the richest individuals.

Italy comes in second with 74 dollar billionaires, whose combined wealth totals €289 billion. The richest Italian is Giovanni Ferrero — the head of the renowned company Ferrero SpA, whose fortune reaches €32.6 billion. He ranks 41st in the global list of billionaires.

The third position belongs to the United Kingdom, which has 55 billionaires with a total wealth of €203 billion. The wealthiest Briton is Michael Platt, co-founder and CEO of BlueCrest Capital Management. His personal wealth is estimated at €16 billion, securing him 106th place among the richest people in the world.

France is home to 52 billionaires. The wealth leader is Bernard Arnault, the head of the LVMH holding, which includes world-famous brands such as Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, and Sephora. His wealth reaches €152 billion, placing him fifth in the global hierarchy of billionaires.
