On the night of September 25, the Russian Federation launched a massive missile strike on the Vinnytsia region, resulting in significant damage to critical infrastructure. According to local authorities, part of Vinnytsia temporarily lost power, and train services were suspended. Power and rail connections have since been restored.

Emergency Response After the Attack
According to Nataliia Zabolotna, the First Deputy Head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, all necessary services were promptly engaged to eliminate the consequences of the attack. A total of 76 personnel and 24 units of equipment were involved in the response efforts. Thanks to their coordinated work, the fire that broke out as a result of the shelling was completely extinguished by 5:30 AM.
“There have been no reports of damage to residential buildings, and fortunately, there are no casualties among the people,” Zabolotna added.
Attack on Kirovohrad Region
At the same time, Russian forces struck an infrastructure facility in the Kirovohrad region during the night. According to Andrii Raikovych, the head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, three settlements were partially left without power due to the attack, and damage to several residential buildings was recorded. There are no casualties among the local population, and emergency services continue to work on restoring normal functioning in the region.
