The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, shared details of the trilateral meeting that took place in Abu Dhabi with representatives from Ukraine, the USA, and the United Arab Emirates.

According to Umerov, the Ukrainian delegation included the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, Member of Parliament Davyd Arakhamia, Ukraine’s Permanent Representative to the UN Serhiy Kyslytsia, Commander of the Joint Forces Andriy Hnatov, Deputy Head of the GUR Vadym Skibitskyi, and Oleksandr Bevza. The American side was represented by the Special Representative of President Donald Trump, Steve Witkoff, advisor and son-in-law of the president Jared Kushner, Commissioner of the Federal Procurement Service Josh Gruenbaum, U.S. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll, and Commander of the U.S. Armed Forces in Europe General Alexus Grinkevich.

Main Outcomes of the Meeting

Umerov emphasized that the talks were conducted in a constructive atmosphere and aimed at achieving concrete results. The delegations discussed practical steps for further cooperation and developed a strategy for implementing joint decisions.

“The work was substantive and productive, focusing on concrete steps and practical solutions,” said Rustem Umerov.

The meeting in Abu Dhabi marked an important stage in strengthening coordination among Ukraine, the USA, and the UAE in the security and defense sectors.
