Ukrzaliznytsia Temporarily Suspends Suburban Trains on the Nizhyn Route

Ukrzaliznytsia has announced the temporary suspension of suburban train services on the Nizhyn route. The reason for these changes is the threatening security situation in the region, which affects the organization of railway communication.

Changes to the Schedule and Cancellations

Starting from September 30, some trains will operate on shortened routes. In particular, train No. 6902 will depart from Kyiv-Volynskyi only to the Bobryk station, instead of the usual route to Nizhyn. In the opposite direction, train No. 6901 is also limited — it will depart from Bobryk to Kyiv, rather than from Nosivka.

Additionally, several services are limited to and from the Bobryk station. The company emphasizes that passenger safety remains the top priority and apologizes for any inconvenience.

Train Operations According to Dispatcher Schedule

Some trains are operating according to a dispatcher schedule, and their movement depends on the current situation. These services include No. 6903, No. 6905, No. 6907, No. 6909, No. 6911, No. 6913, as well as No. 6904, No. 6906, and No. 6908. For example, train No. 6903 operates only from Nizhyn to Kobyzha, while No. 6904 runs in the opposite direction.

Certain routes are completely canceled today. Specifically, train No. 6072 Tarasivka — Kyiv-Passenger and No. 6674 Nemyshayeve — Sviatoshyn will not be in operation.

“Today, suburban trains will operate according to the dispatcher schedule. We will depart on trips when the situation allows,” Ukrzaliznytsia reported.

Railway workers have urged passengers to closely monitor updates regarding changes in the schedule and to take this information into account when planning their journeys. Current information about train movements will be updated in real-time.
