The research showed that the main reasons for actively searching for new jobs are low salaries, staff reductions, company closures, and changes in career direction. In particular, about 40% of respondents have completely or partially changed their field of activity in the last three years.

“The primary motivations for actively seeking new employment are low salaries, staff reductions, company closures, and changes in career direction,” the study noted.

Ukrainians’ salary expectations are quite high. The most acceptable salary range, according to respondents, is from ₴30,000 to ₴50,000 ($720-$1,200), chosen by 30% of those surveyed. For 29%, a salary of ₴20,000-₴30,000 is sufficient, while 25% aspire to earn more than ₴50,000. Only 13% are willing to work for ₴10,000-₴20,000. However, the median salary offered by employers is ₴22,500.

The most active job seekers at the moment are individuals aged 25 to 44 years.
