The Ukrainian company TAD (“Trans-Auto-D”), specializing in the transportation of oversized cargo and the production of special trailers, has begun operations in the US market. This was announced by the owner of the company, Vitaliy Melnyk.
This is reported by Finway
“The first five trucks have already arrived – these are the legendary Peterbilt, well-equipped tractors designed for oversized loads. Next week, we expect the delivery of the first trailers – RGN and Step deck extendable trailers. All the equipment is new,” he said.
Plans for Exporting Ukrainian Trailers to the US
Initially, TAD purchased the first trailers of American production, but in the near future, it plans to present its own products in the American market. The first trailer in collaboration with an American company is already being manufactured at the TAD factory, and its export to the US is expected soon.
Production Expansion and Investments
TAD is known in the specialized transportation market for its trailers, which have between two and 25 axles and can carry loads weighing up to 300 tons. Last year, the company invested 8 million dollars in expanding its production facilities in Volochysk, located in the Khmelnytskyi region. The new production complex, covering 8,000 square meters, will allow TAD to launch the production of modular special trailers and double its production volumes.
