Ukrainian Drones Destroyed 77,000 Enemy Targets in October: Results of Attacks on Oil Refineries and Ammunition Depots

In October, Ukrainian military drones inflicted significant losses on the enemy, hitting 77,000 hostile targets. This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi. The greatest results were achieved by FPV drones and heavy strike drones, which continue to play a key role in combat operations on the front line.

Improvement of Tactics and Electronic Warfare Means

Russia is actively adopting the experience of Ukrainian forces, creating its own regiments of drone systems and interceptor drones. To this end, the Russian Federation is investing significant resources in an attempt to minimize losses on the battlefield. In response, Ukrainian defenders are constantly enhancing their technologies, particularly strengthening electronic warfare (EW) capabilities. In October, the number of close-range EW systems delivered to the front increased by 100% compared to September.

Continuation of Strikes on Enemy Strategic Facilities

In November, Ukraine is not stopping its campaign to undermine the economic and military capabilities of Russia. Among significant successes is the damage to the infrastructure of the Stavrolen oil refinery in the Stavropol Krai of the Russian Federation, which is part of the Lukoil company. Additionally, on November 12, an ammunition depot was destroyed in the settlement of Novyi Svit in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region.

“Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that over the past month, the drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck 77,000 enemy targets.”

The day before this, Defense Forces units carried out a series of strikes on strategic facilities: the capacities of the Orsknefteorgsintez oil refinery in the Orenburg region of Russia, the Saratov oil refinery, and the Maritime Oil Terminal in Feodosia – an important logistics hub for fuel supply to the Crimean Peninsula and the temporarily occupied territories in southern Ukraine. In addition, a number of targets in occupied Donetsk were hit.
