The main buyers of domestic cheese products remain Moldova, accounting for 33.8% of total exports, Kazakhstan (30%), and Germany (9.1%). The export of cheese products has particularly surged: in July 2025, the volumes of shipments in this category doubled compared to last year.

“The main factor behind this jump was the decrease in the competitiveness of Russian products in Central Asian countries.”
