Successful Operation and Enemy Destruction

“During the operation, enemy fire positions, personnel, and ammunition storage sites of the occupiers were destroyed. Thanks to the professional actions of the scouts, the enemy’s plans for further advancement were thwarted. This allowed for the establishment of a foothold for the tactical advancement of friendly units,” the report states.

As a result of the professional actions of the Ukrainian military, numerous enemy firing points, ammunition depots, and personnel were eliminated. The operation disrupted the plans of the Russian occupation forces for advancing, creating conditions for further movement of Ukrainian units in this section of the front.

Situation in the Oleksandrivka Direction

The Oleksandrivka direction is located at the intersection of three regions – Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk – and remains one of the hottest spots of combat due to the active counteroffensive actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in February-March 2026.

The command of the Airborne Assault Forces does not specify whether any settlements were regained during the breakthrough. Meanwhile, according to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, as of the end of February this year, Ukrainian airborne assault troops and adjacent units in the Oleksandrivka direction have regained control over approximately 400 square kilometers of territory and eight settlements.

Independent verification of this information is currently impossible due to the complex situation at the front.
