The Ukrainian delegation reached a number of strategic agreements with leading American companies during a working visit to the United States, aimed at developing the country’s energy sector and enhancing energy independence.

Key Agreements with Aspect Holdings, Solar Turbines, and Baker Hughes
The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine signed a hydrocarbon distribution agreement with Aspect Holdings. This agreement is expected to attract investments in the hydrocarbon extraction sector in Ukraine, which will contribute to strengthening the country’s energy security.
At the same time, Naftogaz of Ukraine signed a memorandum of cooperation with the international energy equipment manufacturer Solar Turbines. Among the main areas of cooperation, the parties are considering the localization of service and maintenance of equipment in Ukraine, the organization of specialized training for Ukrainian specialists, and other initiatives to enhance the resilience and energy independence of Naftogaz facilities.
“Naftogaz of Ukraine has signed a memorandum with a leading international energy equipment manufacturer, Solar Turbines. Among the potential areas of cooperation are the localization of service and maintenance of equipment, training of Ukrainian specialists, and other initiatives aimed at increasing the energy resilience and independence of Naftogaz group facilities,” said Shmyhal.
Improving Extraction Efficiency and Energy Reliability
Furthermore, Naftogaz of Ukraine signed a memorandum of understanding with Baker Hughes. The implementation of this agreement will enhance energy efficiency and reliability in the operation of gas turbines and compressor units, as well as contribute to the optimization of extraction processes and increase the productivity of the industry.
Thanks to the signed agreements, Ukraine expects to attract cutting-edge technologies, expand cooperation with global energy leaders, and strengthen its energy security in the face of ongoing challenges.
