Russia’s Involvement in Ukraine’s Reconstruction and Peace Issues
The U.S. President shared that he had a lengthy phone conversation with Putin, lasting about two and a half hours. According to Trump, the parties discussed a wide range of issues, including Russia’s potential involvement in the reconstruction of Ukraine and energy supplies “at very low prices.”
At the same time, in response to a question about the possibility of a ceasefire to hold a referendum in Ukraine, Trump stated that such a prospect is currently unlikely. He mentioned that the parties are still working on this issue, and the situation remains tense.
Trump emphasized his position on peaceful resolution and stressed that he supports ending the war.
