As a result of a sharp deterioration in weather conditions on the night of December 29, thousands of residents in the Ternopil and Lviv regions were left without electricity. In particular, in Ternopil, residents of 109 communities found themselves without power. According to operational data as of 8:00 AM, 16 communities remain completely without power, while another 70 are partially without electricity. A total of 29 emergency response teams from “Lvivoblenergo” are engaged in efforts to restore electricity supply.
