Growth in Stablecoin Issuance and User Activity
The total issuance of stablecoins in the Ethereum ecosystem at the end of 2025 exceeded $181 billion. This indicates a growing trust among users in digital assets, as well as an increase in transaction volumes on the blockchain.

New Records for Transaction Count and Active Wallets
It is worth noting that the establishment of a new record for transfer volume was also accompanied by peak values in daily transactions. On December 31, 2025, the seven-day moving average of transactions on the Ethereum network exceeded 1.87 million per day. This value surpassed the previous maximum of 1.61 million, which was recorded in May 2021, and exceeded the local peak from August 2025.
“The number of active wallets reached 728,904 — the highest level since May 2021.”

Additionally, in mid-December 2025, a historic low of Ethereum volume on exchanges was recorded, which serves as an additional indicator of increased activity on the network and a shift in asset ownership structure among users.
