The total income of the richest Ukrainian businessmen in 2025 reached 1.75 trillion UAH

In 2025, the ten richest Ukrainian businessmen significantly increased their financial indicators, raising their total income by 225 billion UAH. Overall, their companies generated 1.75 trillion hryvnias in revenue, indicating the growing influence of big business on the country’s economy.

Leaders of Ukrainian business and income structure

The ranking of the richest entrepreneurs is led by Rinat Akhmetov, whose companies generated 843 billion UAH in revenue in 2025. The second position was taken by Vitaliy Antonov, the owner of an oil refining business, with an income of 164 billion UAH. The third place went to agrarian Andriy Verevskyi with a figure of 149.7 billion UAH. The top ten also included Yuriy Kosyuk (MHP, 131.3 billion UAH), Volodymyr Kostelman (Fozzy Group, 94 billion UAH), and Oleksiy Poroshenko (Roshen, 75.1 billion UAH). The only woman on the list was Svitlana Ivakhiv (WOG, Como, Halychyna), who earned about 46.9 billion UAH in revenue.

Dynamics of participants and geography of big business

Over the past year, there has been a significant update in the ranking: 9,122 businessmen dropped out of the list, while 15,450 joined. The net increase amounted to 6,328 new participants. Only 21 businessmen managed to maintain their positions, while 37% moved up in the ranking, and 42% lost their places.

Currently, there are 74 thousand businessmen registered in Ukraine whose companies have an annual income of over 10 million UAH. This accounts for approximately one-fifth of all company owners who submitted annual reports (360 thousand businessmen). Almost a quarter of all large entrepreneurs operate in Kyiv — 16,230 registered individuals. Next are Dnipropetrovsk region (7,204 businessmen) and Lviv region (5,878). Together, these three regions account for about 40% of the country’s big business.

The vast majority of entrepreneurs (79%) operate in the “medium” segment of big business with incomes ranging from 10 to 100 million UAH. Another 19% of companies have a turnover of 100 million to 1 billion UAH, while only 2% are the largest players with incomes exceeding 1 billion UAH.

Among the hundred richest businessmen, 69 have Ukrainian registration. Others are represented by Cyprus (7%), the USA and the UK (5% each), Switzerland (4%), and several other countries, including the UAE, Germany, and Monaco.

As of April 1, 2026, 8,991 companies were included in the List of taxpayers with a high level of voluntary compliance with tax legislation, which is 1,353 more compared to the previous month.
