Export and Share of the IT Sector in the Economy
Overall, the volume of IT services export in 2025 may total $6.45–6.52 billion. The information technology sector maintains its leadership among all export industries in Ukraine, accounting for 41.9% of the total export volume of services. Additionally, the IT sector contributes 12.3% of the total export of goods and services, second only to the food segment.
“The share of the IT sector in Ukraine’s GDP decreased from 4.43% in 2023 to 3.92% in 2024. This relative decline is explained not by a downturn in IT, but by the faster growth of other sectors of the economy.”
