The price of A-95 gasoline at gas stations in Ukraine has risen. As of July 22, the average cost of a liter of this fuel is 59.03 UAH, which is 5 kopecks higher compared to the previous day. Experts predict that by the end of the current week, which will conclude on July 27, the price of gasoline may increase by another 30–50 kopecks per liter.

Factors Behind the Increase in Gasoline Prices
Analysts attribute the price hike primarily to logistical difficulties arising from the low water levels in the Danube River. According to Dmitry Leushkin, founder of the Prime Group of Companies, due to the low water level, barges can only be loaded to 20–30% of their maximum capacity. This has caused a certain fuel shortage, as the volumes that were supposed to arrive in Ukraine via water on July 22 were sold out long before the delivery date. Those suppliers who did not manage to purchase fuel were left without necessary stocks.
“Perhaps it will rain and the situation will improve. But all importers have gone to the EU and are looking for available fuel volumes there,” Leushkin noted.
Price Forecast and Market Situation
Experts expect that in the coming days, the price increase will primarily affect gas stations in the budget segment. At the same time, large networks that have sufficient fuel reserves and developed logistics will be able to maintain prices at the current level. According to experts’ estimates, the average price increase for gasoline this week will be 30–50 kopecks per liter.
According to information from the A-95 consulting group, on July 22, large gas station networks offer gasoline at prices ranging from 54.19 to 61.99 UAH per liter. The most expensive fuel is sold at WOG and OKKO stations at 61.99 UAH/l, Shell at 61.95 UAH/l, SOCAR at 60.66 UAH/l, and “Parallel” at 60.16 UAH/l. The lowest prices are recorded at BRSM-Nafta stations (54.19 UAH/l) and Ukr-Petrol (54.5 UAH/l).
