Regulatory Framework for Supporting Communities and Critical Facilities

The Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, Oleksii Kuleba, emphasized that the new mechanism will allow for effective reservation of mobile generation for the needs of communities and critical infrastructure facilities. He noted that the adopted decision is an important regulatory step, as it defines not only the procedure for purchasing equipment but also details its storage, operational movement, and use in crisis situations, particularly during infrastructure damage due to attacks.

“We are forming a systematic mechanism for reserving mobile generation for communities and critical infrastructure facilities,” said the Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, Oleksii Kuleba.

Coordination of Actions and Technical Maintenance

According to the adopted document, clear coordination is provided between executive authorities, local communities, the Recovery Agency, and the State Enterprise “Recovery of Critical Infrastructure.” Mechanisms for the transfer or use of equipment, as well as rules for technical maintenance, transportation, and operation of mobile generation, have also been defined. This approach is expected to ensure prompt response to the emergence of crisis situations and enhance the resilience of the country’s energy infrastructure.
