Support for Veterans at All Stages of Business
As reported by Acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh, the system will support veteran entrepreneurs at every stage—from business registration to filing reports. Both tax experts and demobilized veterans will be involved in the service, ensuring a deeper understanding of the needs and experiences of program participants.
“The system will accompany entrepreneurs at all stages—from business registration to filing reports. Tax specialists and demobilized veterans will participate in the service’s operations. This will allow program participants to receive support from individuals who have experienced combat and understand the specifics of their experiences.”
Service Opportunities and Geography
The service will offer veterans several key functions:
- assistance in selecting the most advantageous tax system;
- individual consultations on tax issues;
- support during business registration, documentation management, and report filing;
- recommendations for avoiding common mistakes that could lead to penalties.
Currently, tax consultant offices are already operating in 20 regions of Ukraine, where veterans can receive professional consultations and support. In the future, there are plans to expand the network, ensuring access to the service in all regions of the country. The initiative aims to simplify interactions with the tax service for veterans starting or developing their own businesses and to provide necessary support to those who defended Ukraine.
Additionally, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a clear procedure for obtaining the status of “veteran entrepreneurship entity.” This decision allows veterans to participate in state and donor support programs.
