According to the Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business (UCAB), the highest price for sunflower oil was recorded in March, when it reached 77.5 hryvnias for 850 ml. In retail chains, prices varied from 31 hryvnias to 72.2 hryvnias per bottle. In April, the cost decreased to 74.9 hryvnias.
“In April, demand for raw materials from processing enterprises intensified, but by the end of the month, there should be enough raw materials for processing, which will stabilize prices going forward”
Additionally, according to the results of April, the volume of sunflower processing in Ukraine increased by 7% compared to March. This is related to the seasonal increase in the supply of raw materials and moderate growth in demand for sunflower oil.
