Last week, the trading volume on decentralized exchanges (DEX) of the Sui network reached an impressive $3.649 billion, setting a new record. The leading crypto service was the Cetus platform, which accounted for nearly 43% of the total trading volume.

According to DeFiLlama, from April 20 to April 26, 2025, Sui recorded significant growth in the decentralized finance sector. The Cetus exchange maintained its leadership, contributing 42.8% of the total trading volume. Another platform, Momentum, took second place, surpassing Bluefin with a record of $91.59 million in daily trading on April 27.
Blockchain Growth and New Partnerships
The total value locked (TVL) in the Sui network also showed positive dynamics, amounting to $1.735 billion. In comparison, this figure exceeded $2 billion in January 2025, marking a historical high for the blockchain.
“In March of this year, the Sui Foundation announced a partnership with World Liberty Financial, an initiative involving the children of U.S. President Donald Trump,” the report noted.
This agreement stipulates that the SUI coin has entered the reserves of the Macro Strategy financial platform, providing additional momentum for the development of the Sui ecosystem.
Cryptocurrency Market and Future Plans
At the time of writing, the market capitalization of the blockchain was approximately $12.2 billion, allowing Sui to rank 11th among crypto assets by this metric. The SUI token is trading on exchanges at around $3.74, according to TradingView.
Additionally, Canary Capital has filed an S-1 application with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to register the first ETF based on SUI (SUI-ETF). This indicates a growing interest in Sui from major investors.
It is worth noting that in August 2024, Grayscale Investments launched the Grayscale Sui Trust, which triggered a rapid increase in the SUI token by 85% within a week.
