In October 2024, auctions involving the “State Land Bank” started on the platform Prozorro.Sales. The state owns over 800,000 hectares of agricultural land, which, according to current legislation, cannot be sold. However, if these assets are not utilized, the country loses millions of hryvnias in potential budget revenue each year.

Results of Land Auctions Over the Year
Throughout the year, more than 900 auctions were held, during which plots totaling over 62,000 hectares were leased. Participants submitted 4,600 bids. The amount raised from the signed contracts exceeded 1 billion hryvnias.

Largest and Most Expensive Land Lots
The largest plots of land were leased in Kirovohrad and Mykolaiv regions — 3,968 hectares, 1,186 hectares, and 1,120 hectares respectively. Meanwhile, the most expensive lots from the auctions were leased in Kirovohrad and Poltava regions, where their value reached 65.5 million UAH, 28 million UAH, and 20 million UAH.
As of November 2025, the “State Land Bank” announced 500 new auctions in the Prozorro.Sales system, where farmers can lease additional plots of 175, 280, and even 400 hectares.
