In July 2025, the Ukrainian vehicle fleet was replenished with over 7,000 electric vehicles, which is 47% more compared to the same period last year. This dynamic growth indicates the increasing popularity of electric transport among Ukrainians.

Passenger and Commercial Electric Vehicles: Sales Structure
The majority of sales in July consisted of passenger electric vehicles — 6,849 units. Of these, 1,587 cars were new, which is 62% more than in 2024. At the same time, 5,262 electric cars had mileage, which is 42% more than last year.
In the commercial electric vehicle segment, 176 registrations were recorded, of which only 20 were new. In comparison, in July 2024, among 103 commercial electric cars, only 6 were new.
Most Popular Electric Car Models in July
The top 5 new electric vehicles last month were:
- BYD Song Plus EV — 384 units;
- Honda eNS1 — 206 units;
- Volkswagen ID. Unyx — 131 units;
- Zeekr 7X — 104 units;
- Audi Q4 e-tron — 89 units.
Among used electric vehicles, the most frequently chosen models were:
- Tesla Model Y — 733 units;
- Tesla Model 3 — 567 units;
- Nissan Leaf — 522 units;
- Kia Niro EV — 265 units;
- Hyundai Kona Electric — 226 units.

Furthermore, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a resolution that simplifies the trade of used vehicles. According to the new rules, companies engaged in wholesale or retail trade of vehicles no longer need to re-register cars in their name before further sale. This significantly facilitates and speeds up the circulation of used cars in the market.
