Russian Shelling Causes Power Outages in Parts of Kherson and Water Supply Interruptions

As a result of yet another shelling by Russian forces, power lines in Kherson were severely damaged. This led to a complete power outage in the village of Tekstilne, as well as partial power loss in the Dnipro and Central districts of the city.

Impact of Shelling on Kherson’s Infrastructure

According to official information, energy specialists are already assessing the extent of the damage. Restoration work is planned to begin on Monday, September 29. Experts emphasize that due to damage to the power grid, there may be interruptions in water supply in some apartment buildings, especially on the upper floors.

Local Authorities’ Response

“As a result of Russian shelling, power lines in Kherson have been damaged. Residents of the village of Tekstilne, as well as parts of the Dnipro and Central districts, are left without electricity.”

The city military administration urges residents to remain calm and to follow official announcements regarding the restoration of electricity and water supply. Efforts to address the aftermath of the shelling will continue until the infrastructure is fully restored.
