In 2025, the number of job vacancies with reservation options in Ukraine increased eightfold compared to the previous year. The majority of these offers are concentrated in the field of skilled trades that are strategically important for the functioning of key sectors of the economy.

Which Professions and Specialties Offer Reservations
The highest number of job advertisements with reservations is found in the category “Manufacturing, Skilled Trades,” particularly in the “Other” section. Here, employers are looking for workers in manufacturing, including sawmill operators, machine operators, cooks, electricians, and fuel attendants. Overall, the number of such vacancies increased elevenfold over the year.
Certain professions have seen even more rapid growth:
- Laborers — an increase of 18 times;
- Salespeople — 13 times;
- Construction workers — 9 times;
- Loaders — 8 times;
- Drivers — 5 times.
Demand Among Job Seekers and Geography of Vacancies
Analysts note that the demand for jobs with reservations has also significantly increased. In October 2025, the number of responses to such vacancies across the country rose sixteenfold compared to the same period last year.
The top five most popular vacancies among candidates included:
- Salesperson — the number of responses increased 66 times;
- Laborer — 38 times;
- Construction worker — 9 times;
- Driver — 8 times;
- Loader — 7 times.
The leader in the number of job advertisements with reservations remains the Kyiv region — in October 2025, nearly 2,000 vacancies were recorded here. Between 300 and 700 advertisements were published in the Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Kharkiv, and Odesa regions. Slightly fewer offers were found in the Zaporizhia and Ivano-Frankivsk regions (between 200 and 250), while in other regions, the number of such vacancies generally varies from 100 to 200.
The median salaries in the category of job vacancies with reservations in October 2025 were highest in the following regions: Ivano-Frankivsk — 40,000 UAH, Kherson and Ternopil — 35,000 UAH, Kyiv — 33,400 UAH, Lviv and Volyn — 32,500 UAH.
