The government has approved the allocation of 14.5 million hryvnias from the fund for eliminating the consequences of armed aggression to complete the construction of two important facilities. In Borodyanka, Kyiv region, a new nine-story residential building for 270 people with an underground parking lot and shelter is planned to be built by the end of 2026. This project is allocated 258.5 million hryvnias. The building will replace a house that was destroyed in March 2022 by Russian occupiers. Additionally, another 30.29 million hryvnias will be directed towards the major repair of a multi-apartment residential building in Bucha, Kyiv region.

International Support and Business Assistance

Zhytomyr will receive a grant from the Netherlands amounting to 35.5 million euros, which will allow for the construction of a modern multipurpose city hospital. At the same time, Lithuania will allocate 17 million euros for the construction of a new school hub on the site of the lyceum destroyed by Russians in Zhytomyr.

Among the business initiatives, it is worth noting the contribution of the IT company EPAM Ukraine, which provided 1 million hryvnias to support the National University “Lviv Polytechnic.” The buildings of this educational institution were damaged as a result of a missile attack by the Russian Federation on July 12.
