The Polish route remains the busiest

As of today, there are more than 5,500 vehicles and 35 buses in line at the border checkpoints. The highest load is recorded on the Polish route, where currently 2,960 freight trucks are waiting at the Kukuriki (Kozlovichi) crossing point, which is 150 more than the previous day.

“Over 5,500 cars and 35 buses are in line to the European Union. The situation at the Belarus-EU border remains tense with vehicles waiting to enter the adjacent European territory.”

At the Lithuanian crossing points of Medininkai (Kamenny Log) and Shalchininkai (Benyakoni), 1,200 trucks are waiting to cross the border. On the Latvian route, specifically near the Paternieki point, 780 trucks are in line.

Increase in queues for passenger cars and buses

The only Polish crossing point, Terespol (Brest), currently available for passenger cars, is processing 620 passenger vehicles and 35 buses waiting for the opportunity to exit to Poland. In comparison, the previous day, the number of vehicles waiting for processing to enter the EU from the Belarusian side was about 5,200 units.

The Belarusian authorities emphasize that the situation remains tense due to the significant influx of traffic at the border, especially on the main transport routes to EU countries.
