PrivatBank Introduces New Card Service Fees in 2026

In 2026, holders of PrivatBank cards may encounter changes in the commission fees for account servicing. Depending on the type of card and the chosen tariff package, annual costs can reach hundreds or even thousands of hryvnias.

Difference in Fees Depending on Card Type

Bank representatives explain that the amount of the monthly fee for card servicing varies significantly depending on the selected product. For example, the “Universal Gold” card has a monthly fee of 20 hryvnias, totaling 240 hryvnias per year. Meanwhile, the basic version of the “Universal” card remains free for users.

Much higher fees are set for premium packages. For instance, servicing an account with a Platinum card in the Premium package costs 200 hryvnias per month. However, if the client meets the bank’s specified spending conditions, this fee may be waived.

For the Premium PLUS package, which includes World Black Edition or Signature cards, the monthly fee is 400 hryvnias. In the Premium MAX tariff (World Elite or Infinite Premium cards), the cost increases to 600 hryvnias per month.

In the Private Banking segment, servicing accounts with an Infinite Private card can reach 2,000 hryvnias per month. At the same time, this category also offers the possibility to avoid the fee if specific conditions are met.

“The bank emphasizes that some fees can be waived if the conditions of special programs are followed, particularly by making a specified amount of expenditures within the month.”

How to Avoid Paying Fees

To avoid paying some fees, clients are advised to pay attention to the requirements of special programs – specifically, to make a certain amount of expenditures per month. Additionally, for those looking to save, there is an alternative in the form of a digital Digital card. It is issued exclusively in virtual format but retains all the functionalities of a regular plastic card.

The Digital card can be opened in hryvnias, dollars, or euros, and within a year, up to six such cards can be issued for free. The servicing of the digital card is completely free, with no fees involved.
