In 2025, gray cars are the most sought-after among Ukrainians. According to data from the UkrAvtoprom portal, one-third of all new passenger cars sold in the first quarter of this year were gray.

Among other colors, white cars ranked second in popularity, accounting for 29% of the total number of cars sold. Black cars were chosen by 17% of buyers, blue by 7%, and green rounded out the top five most popular colors with 6% of new cars.

Experts also presented the most popular car models in various color segments:
- Gray: Toyota RAV4;
- White: Renault Duster;
- Black: Toyota Land Cruiser Prado;
- Blue: Škoda Octavia;
- Green: Renault Duster.
Tips for Choosing a Car Color
Experts urge potential car owners to pay attention to their choice of color, as it will affect the car’s value upon resale. It is recommended to purchase cars in white, black, silver, blue, or red, which are referred to as “timeless” colors.
An expert previously noted that caution should be exercised when choosing certain models, such as the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Nissan Juke, Chrysler Sebring, and Smart ForTwo, due to unreliable engines.
