Personal Income Tax Revenues to the Ukrainian Budget Increased by 14.8% in January-February 2026

In the first two months of 2026, the state budget of Ukraine received 101.6 billion hryvnias in personal income tax (PIT). This amount exceeds the corresponding figure for the same period last year by 14.8%, when revenues amounted to 88.5 billion hryvnias.

Leading Regions by PIT Revenues

The largest share of contributions is traditionally provided by Kyiv. In January-February 2026, the capital transferred 24.4 billion hryvnias in PIT to the budget. Among the leaders in regional distribution are also Dnipropetrovsk region with 9.9 billion hryvnias, Lviv region with 6.9 billion hryvnias, and Kyiv region, which provided 6.2 billion hryvnias in revenues.

Tax Benefits for Certain Categories of Citizens

Persons with disabilities, as well as parents of children with disabilities, are entitled to a tax social benefit that allows for a reduction of the PIT tax base. This benefit applies exclusively to income in the form of wages, as well as equivalent payments, compensations, and rewards that are accrued during the reporting month for only one place of work or payment.
