Favorable Terms for IDPs and Residents of Dangerous Regions
According to the Ministry of Social Policy, Families, and Unity, 2548 applications have already been submitted under this initiative from IDPs and residents of frontline areas. Of these, 1722 applications have been confirmed, and the state has already allocated assistance for 568 of them.
“The state has already allocated assistance for 568 of these applications and transferred over 200 million to the banks’ accounts to cover the costs of favorable loans.”
Under the program’s conditions, citizens can choose housing that is no older than 20 years and worth up to 2 million UAH. This creates additional opportunities for those who have been forced to leave their homes due to hostilities or who live in areas with an increased level of danger.
State Compensation for Mortgages: Key Features of the Program
In 2026, the “eOselya” program became available to a broader category of citizens, including residents of frontline areas. The program provides for a state compensation of 70% of the down payment for the mortgage loan, as well as 70% of monthly payments during the first year of lending. Additionally, the state covers up to 40 thousand UAH of related costs associated with mortgage processing.
The government initiative aims to provide affordable housing for those Ukrainians who have been most affected by the consequences of the war and need additional support to restore a normal life.
